The “Stranger Things” opening theme is one of the most recognizable synth-only tracks of the past years. With a studio that might as well be a synthesizer museum, it’s no surprise that Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein deliver nothing but analog goodness and eerie retro vibes. Fun fact: the theme wasn’t even written exclusively for the Netflix series, but was composed much earlier and archived in a library for licensing. Good thing they revived it for the Duffer Brothers!

Make sure to listen to the whole soundtrack on Spotify for extra visual effects.

Goes Best With

80s nostalgia and secretly wanting to be a little girl with superpowers.
